“ Definitely a great environment. Everyone was friendly from walking in. They kept checking on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. Pizza was really good! Didn’t leave us with heartburn after eating. All the food was great, all the way to the dessert Death By Chocolate! It is not your typical take out pizza. ”
“ Sam & Louie’s Pizza is by FAR . . . the BEST PIZZA in Corpus Christi & probably even the ENTIRE Coastal Bend !! SERVICE : Absolutely First Class Customer Service & very welcoming & nice staff that operate the restaurant & front counter. ATMOSPHERE : This is the Perfect Sized “Dine In”, place with a very cozy & Family Owned & operated type feel. Each table includes the elevated style pizza tray rack, to make room for everyone’s plates & sodas. They even have shaded outdoor seating, as you enter the restaurant. Parking is so super easy with a HUGE parking lot. PIZZA QUALITY : I have sooo much to say about their PIZZA ! First, the Crust is crispy with their homemade in-house dough & “Brick Oven” toasted style pizza edges is perfectly on point !! Every bite is delicious with the consistency of how well each pizza is baked. Secondly, their Pizza Sauce is absolutely amazing, bursting with a very authentic blend of Italian spices, herbs & fresh tomatoes style of flavor as part of their family recipe !! And last, but not least, the Toppings. They have a large selection of very fresh toppings. My personal favorite, is the pepperoni. This style of pepperoni is the smaller version with curled up crispy toasted edges, like little miniature pepperoni bowls, once the pizza is cooked & served. All the other meats selections, including meatballs & their vegetable choices are all extremely fresh & plentiful. I WILL most definitely be back in Corpus Christi, coming from Austin, during the Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays, when I’m in town, visiting & staying with my extended family. “ This place is so great! Try the pepperoni with ricotta cheese and hot honey!!! The food is incredible and reasonably priced. You can tell the dough is made fresh and ingredients well prepared. The staff was super friendly as well, which is so important these days. We ordered over the phone and about 20 minutes later our pie was perfectly prepared. That’s pretty dang fast for a busy Friday night! Highly recommend!!! ”
